Now the first time back after a while to the newly renovated location. We visited this restaurant for many years now. The food is as good as under the old ownership the young generation is doing their job pretty well in deed. My recommendation test the Shirashi Super Special see picture

Simple place with very authentic atmosphere, great fish and top service. It feels as if you were tele-transported to Tokyo. Perfect place for business lunch or early dinner. A must if you love Japanese food.

My friend swears by their Tirashi, I ate the simple combo and it was just fine. Just good, not phenomenal. But this is a solid traditional Japanese restaurant and there were great options on the menu.

Below a not so visible building next to the Paulista you’ll find this simple and unpretentious hidden jewel. It honors Japanese food with its quality rather than the looks of the place. You’ll find very traditional sushi with fresh fish and great technique on reasonable prices. Everyone that walks in comes for the food and nothing else, it’s not the place where you’ll find couples spending the night or groups following the hype.

Authentic sushi in a cozy, nicely remodeled space. Light woods and well lit dining in an unassuming street off Avenida Paulista serving a fairly priced menu. Had the special chirashi which had a nice variety of fresh fish, scallop and shrimp, but disappointingly, no hamachi. Would definitely recommend.
